Home Base is for households that want more processing to happen on a Mac they own.
It is optional. Homie still works without it for early cohort households.
The Mac should stay plugged in, online, and signed in to the household tools you choose.
If it sleeps or goes offline, Homie should report the gap clearly instead of filling in guesses.
