Using lookouts without noise

Use a Lookout for passive watching. Use a promise only when Homie should act after something happens.

A Lookout is for review, not action. It can collect matches from mail, feeds, or public pages, but it should not call, message, or announce on its own.

Use the product path below before trying to solve this from chat alone.

Menu labels are written as they appear in Homie.

  1. 1

Open Lookouts from Homie, or open a Project and add a source there.

  2. 2

Create one Lookout, add the mail/feed/page it should watch, then review observations.

  3. 3

Use Pause or Archive on the Lookout when the topic is no longer useful.

A good lookout has a place, a threshold, and a reason. For example: three-bedroom rentals near school under a monthly ceiling.

Homie can then ignore almost-matches and bring only the options worth a human look.
