Daily brief
Your daily brief is prepared from enabled sections. Missing accounts or disabled sections should be called out, not guessed around.

Use the product path below before trying to solve this from chat alone.
Menu labels are written as they appear in Homie.
- 1
Open Personal Homie on the member's claimed phone -> Settings -> Morning brief.
- 2
Turn the brief on or off, choose the time, and pick sections such as weather, calendar, deals, events, and news.
- 3
Use Run test brief after changing sections or calendars.
The morning briefing checks each person's brief time and gathers the sections you have enabled. Depending on setup, it can include calendar, weather, deals, news, birthdays, and other useful notes.
Homie can use each person's brief settings plus enabled information such as calendar, weather, mail summaries, reminders, and recent Homie checks.
Each person can keep the brief focused. One member might want weather and calendar only, while another might also want deals, mail, birthdays, or local news.
The brief should not leak private personal content into household views.
It also should not invent sections from services that are not connected. If mail, calendar, weather, or deals are missing, the brief should be honest about what it could not include.
Set each member's brief time and choose which sections they want. The recurring check runs from Homie on your Mac as a scheduled check on your Mac.
Personal briefs can include personal calendar, mail, and reminder information. Shared speakers and household screens should still show only what belongs there.
Use the surface that matches the job. Shared dashboard, personal phone, mail, and voice are intentionally different.
- 1
Set a realistic time window so the brief arrives when you are awake.
- 2
Turn off sections that create noise.
- 3
Use personal mobile for member-specific brief settings.
Most Homie issues come from setup, identity, or approval state. Work through these checks before assuming Homie ignored the request.
- Check whether the question belongs on the shared dashboard, personal mobile, mail, or voice.
- Verify the required permission, account, or microphone setting is enabled.
- Use personal mobile for private member content and the shared screen for household content.
Homie on your Mac: Briefs are prepared by the trusted home setup. They are not prepared by a separate background helper.
